Anker is released from prison after a 15-year prison sentence for robbery resulting in death and, together with his brother Manfred, looks for the money from the robbery. Manfred lives in a council flat, thinks he is John Lennon and is integrated by his psychiatrist Lothar into a band with other patients who also suffer from dissociative identity disorders. The brothers track the money to their former parental home, which is now run as an Airbnb by Margrethe and Werner.
